OK so... i realized that its been FOREVER! since i last updated my journal entry on here... so thought it would be a good time to update it!

I have finished uni for the year yet again! huzzah! however i still have no idea what the hell i want to do with myself, typical of me! ill be applying for my masters in photography for next year and also a masters teaching degree (or something similar) and see what happens with that! if anyone can think of anything they think I'd be good at, please let me know!!

Now! with finishing uni for the year... also means i have a body of work which i have completed since last time i updated with my landscapes!... and i do!
My newest body of work titled 'lastic Emotions' includes a blow up sex doll within the naturalistic landscape, so far it can be viewed at my website www.sarahcoghlan.com go have a look, i may upload some images on here later on! please feel free to give me feedback via my email or through dA!

Also, more images of the gorgeous *Niansa will be on dA and are also up on my website for viewing! any photographers needing an amazing model, ask Nikki, she is hilarious, professional and doesn't complain! one of the best models i would have to say i have worked with! go give her some love! she lives in Sydney too by the way

As i am now on holidays once again i am HOPING TO GOD i will have some free time on weekends to shoot some more people which isn't for uni work! but ill see how i go, life is a little busy and booked out at the moment! just the way i love it ill at least try to get together with ~GeeWiz and ~dirtchild for some fun photo times!!
i'm also available for modeling too people, don't hesitate to ask!

I'm thinking of going on a holiday for about a week or so soon also, to either Sydney or Melbourne.. or both, depending on how much money i can save up and how many people want to see me! so Sydney and Melbourne people, watch out! it's about time i had a holiday!

Some sad news recently, one of my kittens was bitten by a snake and we had to put her down

she was mums cat, only 2 years old but she was an adorable cat!!
BUT
we now have a new kitten, her name is Coco! and she is JUST as cute!! always attacking my cat boots!

she loves to pose for the camera!! shes so cute!

So once again, toy sale came and went, this year i was dressed up as a buzzy bee! was ver VERY cute ill try find a pic somewhere and show you all hehe, another costume to the collection also was my pirate outfit, SO awesome, ill hopefully have some photoshoot opportunities for them in the future

Had an awesome and very tiring weekend with awesome mr *darrenphillips and the gorgeous miss *Niansa who was visiting us for a few days down in adelaide! had a good laugh with some jokes which should not be repeated haha and a looonnggg drive home but got some awesome shots and had an awesome afternoon if not anything else!

back at uni this week, research methods looks like its going to be FULL ON! but will make my thesis next year that much easier to write! im going to be doing some more paintings that will relate to my images, and i think i might try to do some more artistic nudes to fit in with the theme im aiming for.... that is if i can find enough models that wish to pose nude for me within adelaide!! otherwise more landscape photos! and maybe some portraiture if i have time with working 25 hours a week

hopefully going to be able to plan a trip to sydney at the end of the year to visit everyone, its so very overdue! so if anyone wishes to shoot me, or be shot by me, please let me know!

WOOOOO

ok so its my 21st birthday today, so im not doing any homework or anything, and i thought id give this a little update!!
i cant believe that
1- im 21! jesus! where did those years go! feels like only a few weeks ago i was celebrating my 20th! so theres big big BIG celebrations on tonight in adelaide, most likely i will be very very drunk! haha.
2-its already the middle of the year and i have mid year assessment on tuesday for my landscapes!! in saying this i will have 1 A3 print out of a number of them which i am puttin up for sale very soon, relatively cheap! so if you wish to own a piece of sarah coghlan artwork, keep your eyes peeled on this space!! at the moment im estimating they will be around $50 but ill get back to you on that!

OK so i have been SPOILT ROTTEN!! such an awesome birthday!! ~reznorism bought me a Manfrotto tripod, model number 190XDB, i was speechless!!! and my awesome brothers and their girlfriends got me a fix 50mm 1.8 lens, i was speechless again!! the rentals got me some amazing coffee and a traditional italian coffee machine! makes an AWESOME cuppa! i also got 5 new charms for my pandora bracelet, a GIANT 21st cocktail glass full of m&m's, a 21st photo album, 2 different cocktail/liqueur mix things, a teddy, an art book, spongebob sticker book, pistachio nuts! (haha random i know!! ) some wine glasses, more choccy, a necklace, a charm for my other charm bracelet, a new Zu bag, earrings, portmas voucher, sanity voucher, 21st photoframe and keyring, arial and an RCA cable (thats from ~reznorism cos he broke my old ones!!)$20, $50 and a 21st champagne glass!! AND theres still more coming!! so i feel very very special and spoilt

next semester im hoping to do a few more paintings so keep your eyes peeled for those when they are done, they will be very different to my others so hopefully it will be a good change! and also im hoping to get some more portrait/fashion images up in the near future also!
working 25 hours a week around a masters degree doesnt leave much time to do massive awesome pretty shoots haha but ill see how i go i just hope i dont have a nervous breakdown!!

go give my awesome bf some love ~reznorism he has been totally awesome as always and deserves it

in other news... my website received an uplift and has some never seen before images on it! sarahcoghlan.com let me know your thoughts n what not! still a couple things i need to finish on it, but other than that... its complete, if you find any duds OTHER than the CV not working (havent uploaded it yet) and one of the landscape pics doesnt come up, please let me know!!

umm... what else... purchased a Ken Duncan book for myself, was dirt cheap at work, so score! still want a michael kenna one though, god i love his work!!

other than that, i need to get ready to be taken out for my birthday!! have a good one everyone!!

so.... i thought it was time for a bit of an update? since the last journal was lettin you all know how AWESOME circa nocturna was this year haha!

so yeah im still alive, for all of those who thought i dissappeared! still alive and kicking! have been a bit busy with work and not much time for photos hence the lack in uploads! HOWEVER! since i am studyin my masters degree, i do have some new piccies to share with you!! they are open for critique as long as its not too harsh and painful hehe

as you can see im doing landscapes for a change for this semesters work, for all of you who love my portraiture, dont worry that comes back next semester

its also my 21st soon WOW im finally gettin to that age haha how depressing and awesome at the same time! ALSO my website is gettin a facelift, so i shall keep you all posted on that! it should HOPEFULLY! look amazing when its done, dont hold me to that though!

and i think ill have to visit melbourne again soon to catch up with people again for shoots this time (yes jeff i'm looking at you ) and i still need to visit sydney for LONGGG awaited shoots lol

apart from the cancellation of my flight yesterday morning which meant i had to wait at the airport for 5 HOURS!!!! and so i missed my first day of uni, the weekend was officially awesome! and i got myself and awesome space invaders belt buckle from the QVM's
